In this dynamic role, you will perform advanced computed tomography (CT) procedures to support diagnostic evaluations across a variety of outpatient settings. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality imaging services, ensuring accurate results that guide effective patient care. This position offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to earn 48-hour pay, making it ideal for professionals seeking a versatile and rewarding role in medical imaging. Your skills in contrast administration, cross-sectional anatomy, MRI, and X-ray will be essential in providing comprehensive imaging services with precision and care. Responsibilities Perform routine and advanced CT scans with a focus on image quality, patient safety, and comfort across outpatient settings. Administer IV and oral contrast per protocol, monitoring patients for reactions throughout the exam. Apply ALARA radiation-safety principles to minimize dose while maintaining diagnostic image quality. Apply thorough knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure precise imaging protocols. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control standards during all procedures. Operate medical imaging equipment efficiently while troubleshooting technical issues promptly. Educate patients about procedures, ensuring they understand what to expect and addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to interpret images accurately for optimal patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience performing CT procedures in an outpatient or clinical setting. Current ARRT (R)(CT) registration and active Florida license, with BLS certification. Familiarity with contrast protocols, MRI, X-ray, and other advanced diagnostic modalities. Strong understanding of human physiology, cross-sectional anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection prevention practices essential for safe patient care. Prior experience working with medical imaging equipment and troubleshooting technical issues is preferred.
