In this dynamic role, you will perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to support diagnostic evaluations across a variety of outpatient settings. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality imaging services, ensuring accurate results that guide effective patient care. This position offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to earn 48-hour pay, making it ideal for professionals seeking a versatile and rewarding role in medical imaging. Your skills in MRI safety, cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, and patient care will be essential in providing comprehensive imaging services with precision and care. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans with a focus on image quality, patient safety, and comfort across outpatient settings. Complete thorough MRI safety screening and enforce zone and implant/contraindication protocols. Administer IV contrast per protocol, monitoring patient comfort and safety throughout the exam. Apply thorough knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure precise imaging protocols. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control standards during all procedures. Operate medical imaging equipment efficiently while troubleshooting technical issues promptly. Educate patients about procedures, ensuring they understand what to expect and addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to interpret images accurately for optimal patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience performing MRI procedures in an outpatient or clinical setting. Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration and active Florida license where applicable, with BLS certification. Familiarity with MRI safety, contrast protocols, and other advanced diagnostic modalities. Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection prevention practices essential for safe patient care. Ability to evaluate images diagnostically and communicate findings effectively to healthcare providers. Prior experience working with medical imaging equipment and troubleshooting technical issues is preferred.
