McIver Clinic has been a trusted leader in urological care in Jacksonville since 1921. With multiple locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area and more than 27 providers, we deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of urology, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery and oncology. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered CT Technologist to join our perioperative team in a busy office-based urology surgery center on a PRN basis. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography examinations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of anatomy, high-quality patient care, and the ability to operate and understand CT equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Prepare and position patients for scanning, explaining the process to alleviate patient concerns Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines Inspect and maintain imaging equipment Assist radiologists with image guided procedures Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements:
Required education and experience: CPR Certification ARRT Certification Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist License Preferred education and experience: BLS Work authorization/security clearance requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
