Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging by contributing your expertise as a skilled technologist. This fulfilling contract opportunity calls for a versatile professional with proven ability in CT, PET, and X-ray modalities. Your excellence in imaging will help ensure accurate diagnostics and the best possible care for patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT); PET experience highly valued Valid licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist Proficiency in operating advanced CT, X-ray, and PET equipment Proven ability to follow safety protocols and radiation protection standards Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with patients and interdisciplinary teams Minimum of one year of recent experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, PET scans, and X-rays as ordered by physicians Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety before, during, and after procedures Accurately operate and maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly Review, process, and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation in a timely manner Record and update patient information according to facility protocols and regulatory requirements Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards Benefit from a collaborative work environment where your contributions matter daily.
