Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Expand your impact on patient care by utilizing your radiologic expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled imaging professional proficient in Radiology, X-ray, and CT/PET technologies. Apply your technical abilities and compassionate care to support both patients and medical teams.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, variable shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist Demonstrated proficiency in performing X-rays, CT, and PET imaging Experience with advanced digital imaging equipment and PACS systems Strong patient communication and empathy skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team BLS certification (required)
Responsibilities:
Operate radiology and CT/PET imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic procedures Accurately position patients and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for all exams Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and support patient diagnosis Maintain and calibrate equipment to meet safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines Prepare and manage patient records and imaging data using EMR and PACS systems Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards at all times Provide caring support and education to patients before, during, and after procedures
