Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with expertise in imaging and mammo procedures for a 13-week contract position. This opportunity requires a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic care within a professional team environment. The facility operates Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with 8-hour day shifts and a strong likelihood of extension after the initial contract period.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts (7:30am - 4:00pm)
Key Requirements:
Must reside outside of Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties College diploma or transcripts (submission required) FL State license as a General Radiographer ARRT certification Initial Mammography course with 40 hours of training Completion of 15 breast-related CME credits in the past 36 months Documentation of the number of mammograms performed in the last 24 months, OR reinstatement with proof of 25 supervised cases per MQSA Strong analytical and patient-care skills in mammography imaging
Preferred Experience:
Recent hands-on mammo tech experience in a diagnostic center or hospital setting Familiarity with digital imaging systems and MQSA compliance standards
Role Responsibilities:
Operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images according to protocol Accurately follow established procedures for imaging as required by regulatory standards Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout imaging processes Maintain meticulous records for reporting, quality standards, and compliance
