Job Description

Interventional Radiographer Kissimmee, FL Full-time Full-time A full-time Interventional Radiographer opportunity is available at a 404-bed tertiary care Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Kissimmee, Florida. This advanced acute care facility is home to a nationally recognized Vascular Interventional Radiology department, offering the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team performing complex vascular and neuro-interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Interventional Radiographer specializes in vascular angiographic imaging and supports a wide variety of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves caring for critically ill through acutely ill adult and geriatric patients while producing high-quality imaging across neurological, thoracic, abdominal, peripheral vascular, venous access, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and other interventional specialties. The position requires excellent technical expertise, sound clinical judgment, and close collaboration with physicians and the interventional team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform vascular and interventional radiology imaging procedures in a variety of clinical specialty areas. Assist physicians during diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional procedures. Produce high-quality angiographic images while maintaining patient safety. Prepare patients for procedures and provide education regarding the imaging process. Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper operation of imaging equipment. Accurately document procedures and imaging records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology; special procedures training preferred. Current Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required. ARRT (R) certification required; CV registry preferred. One year of interventional radiology experience preferred. Candidates with less experience may be considered if they have strong imaging experience, particularly in interventional or neuro imaging. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire. Strong technical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Schedule:
Full-time Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM•5:30 PM) Scheduled days determined by the hiring manager Rotating on-call coverage required:

AM Saturday-Sunday:
7:00 AM•7:00
