Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging department in a dynamic clinical environment serving Miami Beach. This role is structured as a 13-week contract with the potential for extension and offers an engaging schedule that allows work-life balance.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Facility hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Essential Qualifications:
Must not be a current resident of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties Valid FL State License as a General Radiographer Active ARRT certification Completion of an initial Mammography Course (minimum 40 hours training) At least 15 breast-related continuing medical education (CME) credits in the last 36 months Documented list of mammography procedures performed in the last 24 months, or proof of reinstatement with documentation of 25 supervised cases (per MQSA) College diploma or academic transcripts Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality and patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines Prepare, position, and educate patients for mammography procedures while ensuring comfort and confidentiality Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for regulatory compliance Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff Ensure safety standards are upheld throughout all imaging processes
