Job Description
Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Advance your career in medical imaging by joining a dynamic healthcare setting specializing in MRI procedures. As an essential member of the radiology department, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic images to support precise patient care and treatment planning.
Responsibilities include:
Performing MRI scans following established protocols to ensure clarity, safety, and diagnostic accuracy Preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process, and addressing concerns to maintain comfort Operating and maintaining MRI equipment, ensuring safety standards are strictly followed Collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver timely, accurate results Monitoring patients during imaging for any signs of discomfort or adverse reaction, and taking appropriate action if necessary Maintaining detailed records of procedures and patient histories in accordance with regulatory requirements Adhering to all safety and infection control guidelines Qualifications and experience desired: Certification or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related discipline ARRT (MR) certification preferred (or eligibility) Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital environment Strong understanding of patient positioning, MRI safety screening, and emergency procedures Adept interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize cases, and respond calmly in a fast-paced environment This contract position offers an opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals while expanding your expertise in advanced imaging modalities.
