Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals specializing in mammography who are seeking a dynamic clinical environment. As an integral member of the imaging team, you'll provide expert mammography services in a fast-paced outpatient facility.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts: 7:30am - 4:00pm 13-week assignment with a potential for extension
Key Qualifications:
Must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (college diploma or transcripts required) Active FL State license as a General Radiographer Current ARRT certification Completion of an Initial Mammography Course (minimum 40 hours) Documentation of 15 breast-related CME credits within the last 36 months Evidence of the number of mammograms performed in the past 24 months OR documentation of reinstatement via 25 supervised cases (per MQSA standards) Professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering optimal patient care
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient preparation, education, and safety throughout the imaging process Maintain accurate patient records, including required MQSA documentation Operate digital mammography equipment with attention to image quality and radiation safety Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver thorough, compassionate care Participate in ongoing continuing education and comply with current mammography regulations
