Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MRI Technician, where your expertise in advanced imaging techniques will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. In this energetic position, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, supporting physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your proficiency in various imaging modalities, including CT scans, DEXA scans, and sonography, combined with your solid understanding of physiology and anatomy, will ensure high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination Conduct specialized imaging procedures such as CT scans, DEXA scans for bone density assessment, and sonography when required Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on diagnostic needs and patient history Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical parameters for accurate record-keeping Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment through routine checks and timely reporting of any technical issues Apply comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation to produce precise images that support clinical decisions Experience Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles Familiarity with CT imaging techniques, DEXA scans, sonography procedures, and related diagnostic tools Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and interpret preliminary image quality concerns Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently to maintain a sterile environment during procedures Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to radiology and diagnostic evaluation processes Prior experience working with diverse patient populations while demonstrating excellent communication skills and empathy Join us as an MRI Technician where your skills will directly impact patient outcomes!
