Role:
Ambulatory Diagnostic Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong PET/CT experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid clinical background in both general nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging , and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies according to established protocols and physician orders. Prepare, calculate, and administer radio pharmaceuticals in accordance with safety and radiation protection standards. Operate PET/CT scanners and associated equipment to obtain optimal image quality. Accurately document patient data, imaging parameters, and administered doses. Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure patient comfort, safety, and quality of care. Maintain and monitor equipment performance; coordinate service calls and calibrations when necessary. Ensure compliance with all ACR, NRC, and state radiation safety regulations. Support departmental workflow and assist with scheduling or patient flow as needed.
Qualifications:
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required. Florida Nuclear Medicine license (current and active). Minimum 2 years of PET/CT experience required. Experience in general nuclear medicine studies preferred. BLS certification required. Strong patient care and communication skills. Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
Schedule & Compensation:
Full Time:
MondayFriday schedule, occasional Saturdays as needed.
Per Diem:
Flexible availability based on departmental coverage needs. Competitive pay based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
