Job Description

Leon Medical Centers is seeking a compassionate and experienced X-Ray Technologist to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services at our Kendall Center . Position Summary:
As an X-Ray Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients. You will be responsible for producing high-quality images, adhering to radiation safety standards, and delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians. Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Process imaging orders and maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation. Utilize appropriate imaging techniques and exposure settings to ensure optimal image quality. Educate patients on examination procedures and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience. Follow ALARA and Radiation Safety principles to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Ensure all required consents and documentation are completed prior to examinations.
