CT Technologist-Cardiology experience

) At The Cardiovascular Center of Florida, we are dedicated to providing high-quality outpatient cardiovascular care in a collaborative clinical environment. We are currently seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our cardiovascular imaging team. This position is ideal for a motivated imaging professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient setting and is passionate about patient care and diagnostic imaging services. Position Summary The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced and highly autonomous CT Technologist with advanced cardiac imaging expertise to support our growing outpatient cardiovascular imaging operations in the Orlando market. This role requires a strong background in cardiac CT imaging, including Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), Calcium Scoring, and peripheral runoff studies, along with extensive experience operating within a GE CT platform environment. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented, operationally minded, and capable of working independently within a high-volume cardiovascular setting. In addition to performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, this individual will play an active role in workflow optimization, protocol development, accreditation readiness, and ongoing imaging quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced CT imaging procedures in an outpatient cardiovascular environment Independently conduct and support cardiac CT studies including: Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) Coronary Calcium Scoring Peripheral runoff studies Operate and troubleshoot GE CT imaging systems efficiently and safely Ensure high-quality imaging acquisition while maintaining patient safety and comfort Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership regarding imaging protocols and workflow improvements Assist with accreditation preparation, regulatory readiness, and quality assurance initiatives Support development and optimization of CT protocols, workflows, and operational processes Maintain accurate documentation within theEMR/PACS
systems Demonstrate strong independent judgment and ability to function with minimal supervision Qualifications ARRT (R)(CT) certification required Active Florida licensure required Minimum 3+ years of CT experience preferred, with significant cardiac CT experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience performing: Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) Calcium Scoring Peripheral runoff studies Extensive experience working on GE CT platforms required Strong understanding of cardiac imaging protocols and cardiovascular anatomy Experience supporting accreditation processes and imaging quality initiatives preferred Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced specialty environment Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skillsPay:
