CT Technologist

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. Full Time, Days The CT Technologist performs duties directly involved with producing images to detect pathology. Operates equipment safely, maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, the medical staff, and patients. 1. Technical Skills a. Applies knowledge and skills necessary to perform all functions of the job including technical competence in the field. b. Demonstrates self motivation in performing job duties. c. Follows department policy, and procedures to perform all job functions. 2. Patient/Family Education a. Explains procedures to patients and family, and demonstrates sensitivity with respect to the family and/or significant other as an individual family unit. b. Provide for privacy of the patients 3. Equipment Maintenance a. Operates all equipment in a safe and effective manner according to the manufacturer's guidelines. 4. Resource Management a. Serves as a resource person and assists in the orientation of new associates regarding compliance with imaging specific policies and procedures. 5.

Compliance a. Adheres to the Radiology compliance of the JCAHO, MQSA, NRC, and other mandated clinical certifying agencies standards

EDUCATION

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certificate;
