The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging studies, supporting providers during clinic flow, and ensuring patients receive professional, compassionate care throughout their visit. The Radiologic Technologist will perform routine orthopedic X-rays while maintaining patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging ordered by physicians and advanced practice providers. Properly position patients to obtain high-quality orthopedic images. Follow radiation safety standards and use appropriate shielding and protection. Verify patient identity and confirm imaging orders prior to performing exams. Prepare and maintain X-ray rooms, equipment, and supplies. Upload, label, and route images accurately in the EMR/imaging system. Communicate professionally with providers, clinical staff, and patients. Assist with clinic flow as needed to ensure timely patient care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with practice policies and regulatory requirements. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or workflow delays to leadership. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment. Requirements Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license required. ARRT certification preferred. BLS certification preferred. Orthopedic imaging experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of proper radiographic positioning and radiation safety standards. Strong patient service skills and professional communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office environment. Experience with EMR and imaging software preferred. $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
