Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal imaging role, utilizing advanced technology and expertise to deliver top-notch patient care. As a valued CT/PET Technologist, your proficiency in computed tomography and attention to detail will directly impact diagnostic accuracy and patient experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Five 8-hour day shifts per week
Qualifications:
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) Demonstrated experience in CT and PET imaging Previous work with a 64-slice GE Lightspeed VCT scanner highly preferred Strong focus on patient safety and comfort, with excellent communication skills Ability to collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Operate a GE Lightspeed VCT 64-slice CT scanner to capture clear, precise images Prepare patients for procedures, thoroughly explaining the process and answering questions Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety procedures Monitor imaging results and assist with troubleshooting equipment as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records within the imaging department Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
