Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in imaging, specifically mammography Current ARRT certification in Mammography or eligibility (as required by the state) Active, unencumbered state license to practice (or willingness to obtain for Georgia) Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting preferred Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammography examinations according to physician orders and safety protocols Educate and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to optimize diagnostic accuracy Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment in line with facility standards Document all procedures and results accurately within electronic health records systems
