Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in CT imaging. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. This contract role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical setting Proficiency in patient positioning for optimal scan quality In-depth knowledge of radiation safety and compliance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to document procedures accurately Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety throughout each procedure Prepare and position patients, explaining the process and responding to any concerns Monitor patients during imaging for comfort and safety Operate CT equipment, set exposure controls, and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure Review images for clarity, completeness, and notify radiologists of any critical findings Maintain accurate records and document all procedures according to facility protocols Assist with regular equipment maintenance and report any technical issues promptly Uphold all infection control and safety guidelines This contract position offers the chance to contribute meaningful work in a respected healthcare setting, utilizing your specialized skills in CT imaging.
