Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in diagnostic imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment supporting patient care through advanced radiological services. As a key member of the imaging team, you will help deliver precise diagnostic information that is vital for effective treatment decisions. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to apply your technical skills and patient care experience in a respected medical setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time; specific shift details will be provided during the interview process
Qualifications & Experience:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required State of Georgia Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility) Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting preferred Proficient in operating and maintaining imaging equipment Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care Strong attention to detail and familiarity with safety regulations in radiology
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate radiology equipment, monitoring performance and reporting any malfunctions Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational standards at all times Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Complete accurate documentation and maintain up-to-date patient records
