Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Imaging - CT professional for a contract opportunity available after 5/30/26. This role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to delivering safe, age-appropriate care while performing comprehensive CT studies in accordance with departmental procedures and best practices.
Schedule:
Night shift:
Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday Hours:
7:00 pm - 7:30 am
Key Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiology (CT experience preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to discuss and explain procedures clearly to patients, families, and staff Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, exposure, radiation protection, and contrast media administration
Primary Responsibilities:
Verify clinician orders and patient identification with two unique identifiers Obtain clinical histories and assess for contraindicating conditions Perform and review CT studies, ensuring quality diagnostic images and patient safety Maintain equipment calibration, cleanliness, and complete daily quality control tasks Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams, and provide pre- and post-procedural care Assist in emergency situations, keep monitoring equipment ready, and participate in departmental education and training Maintain organizational workflow for scheduling, documentation, and patient care activities If you excel under pressure, are dedicated to quality patient care, and are ready to contribute your expertise to a high-performing imaging team, we encourage you to apply for this contract position today.
