Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certified and registered as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Active state license to practice in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain) Minimum of 1 year recent experience in IR tech role preferred Proficient in operating imaging equipment and knowledge of interventional procedures Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care BLS/CPR certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, and catheter insertions Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment according to safety protocols Ensure patient comfort and communicate procedure details effectively Monitor patient responses and report any changes to the medical team Adhere to departmental policies and radiation safety standards Document procedures and maintain accurate records
