Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
Day shift: Friday 6:30am-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-8:30pm On-call for 4 shifts and all holidays
Role Overview:
Achieve a new level of skill and autonomy in radiologic technology while providing age-appropriate, patient-centered care. You'll be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring patient safety, and operating sophisticated radiologic equipment. With exposure to a broad spectrum of procedures and direct interaction with students on rotation, this assignment is ideal for those passionate about professional development and teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain clinical histories; assess examination data for contraindications Perform, evaluate, and document diagnostic imaging procedures Adhere to safety standards and advanced radiological techniques to minimize patient exposure Mentor and collaborate with students during clinical rotations Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure cleanliness and compliance with infection control policies Respond promptly to emergencies and restock life support equipment as needed Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families ensuring clarity and compassion
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT-R certification required Current BLS certification Entry-level applicants welcome; must demonstrate strong communication, multitasking, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills Solid teamwork and customer service orientation
