We recruit and place physicians, advanced-practice providers, allied health and nursing personnel, on short-term and long-term assignments nationwide.
Position Summary:
Solvet Services is seeking 3 Full-time Computed Tomography (CT) Techs at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in
Decatur, GA Compensation:
$55
  • 60 per hour
Schedules:
Saturday and Sunday 8pm to 8am overnight (24 hours per week)
Duties:
Perform computerized tomography of the head, neck, spine, chest, and body. Determine technical factors, positioning, number, and thickness of scans, etc., to produce and satisfy the requirements of CT scanning. Perform all procedures relating to all general CT exams and more complex exams such as CTA coronary, abdominal and neuro, exams. Advise radiologists of examination results and notify radiologists of scans requiring their immediate attention. Key Responsibilities Perform CT examinations using appropriate imaging protocols to provide diagnostic-quality images. Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to VA and radiology standards. Follow physician orders, verify patient identification, and explain procedures clearly to patients. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program. American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R) certification is required. Advanced ARRT (CT) certification is required for assignments that include computed tomography. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
