Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital role performing advanced MRI imaging to support patient diagnosis and care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with skilled clinicians, leveraging state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Hours and shifts will be communicated during the interview process to match facility needs.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT) Minimum of one year of experience performing MRI imaging in a clinical environment Proficiency with MRI equipment, including safety protocols and patient positioning Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized MRI scans according to physician orders Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation Maintain thorough patient records and document procedures as required Adhere to facility infection control and safety standards Educate patients on scan procedures, addressing questions and reducing anxiety
