1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, ACLS, and experience in interventional and endovascular procedures for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, GA. Details Work in an Interventional Radiology lab at an acute care hospital setting Experience with coronary CTA and interventional radiology procedures required Endovascular experience preferred 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call rotation of 1 week per month May be required to float to affiliated Emory locations as needed 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience Active ARRT certification required Current BLS and ACLS required Experience with coronary CTA and interventional radiology procedures required Endovascular experience preferred License required if applicable Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for performing complex technical care and multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate sequence and timeframe Must maintain proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment and stay current on medical device usage Hospital-provided scrubs Free parking available Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum of 18 months separation is required RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per contract, and consecutive days off during holiday periods may not be approved
