Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Advance your career in a dynamic healthcare setting by delivering high-quality imaging services as a Radiology Technologist. This role supports vital diagnostic procedures, ensuring exceptional patient care and precise imaging results.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid state licensure as a Radiology Technician Proven experience in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging Strong knowledge of safety protocols and patient positioning techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort at all times Operate X-ray and related equipment to produce high-quality images Evaluate images for accuracy, ensuring optimal clarity for diagnostic interpretation Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system Adhere to infection control and radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and oneself Support radiologists and medical teams with timely delivery of diagnostic information Contribute to the upkeep and calibration of radiologic equipment
