Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging, specifically in CT, to support patients and staff in a busy healthcare environment. This contract assignment requires a dependable, accountable individual capable of providing safe, age-appropriate care, and producing quality diagnostic studies with independent judgment and initiative.
Schedule:
Night shift:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Hours:
6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (3x12 shifts) Contract starts after May 23, 2026
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required; experience in CT preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, radiation protection, and quality control standards
Key Responsibilities:
Verify clinician orders, obtain patient history, and assess for contraindications Consistently perform all CT imaging procedures according to department standards Ensure patient identification and marker guidelines are followed Review images for quality, release patients, and maintain proper documentation Respond to emergencies, restock supplies, and assist technologists as needed Operate, clean, and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and infection control protocols Educate patients and families about procedures, using effective communication and AIDET principles Complete all studies in the electronic record system and adhere to quality audits and regulatory standards Maintain effective workflow, prioritize responsibilities, and perform charge activities on rendered services
