Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Deliver critical imaging services in a dynamic environment, where expertise in CT technology supports high-quality patient care. This is a contract opportunity, with shifts scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 7:00pm, requiring flexibility to meet department needs.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT Radiography certification (ARRT-R) ARRT Computed Tomography certification (ARRT-CT) Basic Life Support certification (BLS, ARC-BLS or BLS-I) At least one year of experience in Radiology; less than one year in CT considered Strong communication skills for interaction with physicians, patients, and staff Proficiency in CT imaging, patient positioning, and radiation safety Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols and with attention to patient safety Verify physician orders, obtain relevant patient history, and assess for contraindications Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for adverse effects Produce and review diagnostic quality images, ensuring correct documentation and patient identification Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; uphold infection control practices Respond effectively to emergency situations, supporting life support and crash cart readiness Clearly explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns Participate in departmental training and keep up with required educational modules Handle daily operational tasks such as equipment cleaning, stocking, and patient transport Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Contribute your CT imaging expertise in a supportive environment where teamwork and quality care are prioritized.
