Job Description
Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with a neuro focus in Monroe, GA. This position offers a contract assignment with a schedule designed to provide a balanced workweek and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality imaging procedures in the interventional radiology suite with a focus on neurological cases Prepare patients and equipment for IR procedures ensuring safety and compliance with protocols Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation Respond to calls approximately 9-10 days per month, providing essential coverage for urgent casesQualifications:
Current BLS certification required Proven experience working in neuro interventional radiology Skilled in operating IR imaging technology and supporting complex procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to manage call schedule responsibilities effectivelySchedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call duty approximately 9-10 days monthly Availability during the week of December 29 is essentialLocation:
