Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in CT imaging to a dynamic department committed to high standards of patient care and quality diagnostics. This contract position requires a dependable, accountable, and cooperative professional who can provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services and uphold the department's procedures and protocols.
Schedule:
Day shifts
Saturday & Sunday:
8:30am - 7:00pm
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications Current BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology required (less than one year in CT may be considered) Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work both independently and within a team Strong knowledge of patient positioning, anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection Proven ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct all CT imaging exams per department protocols, ensuring safety, quality, and proper patient identification Obtain patient's clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions Administer contrast media safely and follow correct procedures for pre- and post-procedural care Maintain patients' dignity and comfort throughout procedures Evaluate CT images for diagnostic quality and release patients when appropriate Clean, disinfect, and check equipment functionality according to infection control and quality control protocols Participate in training and orientation of other staff members as needed Manage daily department operations including restocking supplies, documentation, and assisting colleagues Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow hospital-wide standards and compliance guidelines This is a rewarding opportunity to leverage your CT imaging skills in a collaborative setting.
