Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Join a respected healthcare team as a CT Technologist, contributing your expertise in advanced imaging at a well-established Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital. This contract position is located in Warner Robins, GA, serving a diverse patient population including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases. You will be part of a department utilizing cutting-edge technology such as Philips PACS and GE scanners within an
EPIC EMR
environment.Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and PET-CT imaging with precision and adherence to safety standards. Execute IV starts competently as necessary for imaging procedures. Collaborate across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings to deliver quality diagnostic care. Participate in orientation programs and ongoing departmental support. Handle variable shift schedules with dedicated weekday coverage: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years' CT experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered. Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification mandatory. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center and Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Proficient in using industry-standard imaging equipment and electronic medical records (EPIC).Scheduling and Shift Details:
Contract role with a 13-week schedule cycle.Shift:
12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours weekly. No weekend rotation or on-call duties. Travelers are expected to work approximately 75% of holidays during the contract. Holiday time off requests require manager approval.Benefits and Perks:
