Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certified and registered Radiologic Technologist - CT (ARRT-CT or equivalent) Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active certification/licensure as required by state regulations Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Competency in operating and troubleshooting CT imaging equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to department protocols Assess images for proper positioning, anatomy, and diagnostic value before presenting to radiologists Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to safety guidelines for infection control and radiation exposure Clean, maintain, and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal operation This position offers exposure to a broad range of cases and a chance to expand your skills in a respected clinical setting.
