We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our rapidly expanding practice involving the full gamut of IR including oncologic treatments such as ablations, embolizations and soon to include histotripsy. This position requires someone who takes the initiative to remain up to date on the latest procedural and practice advances. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide array of interventional procedures ranging from basic drainages and biopsies to advanced procedures including ablations, prostate and MSK embolizations, and advanced oncology procedures and treatments
Perform and supervise an average of 16 procedures per day
Provide full spectrum care to both inpatients and outpatients to include consults, pre and post procedure clinic visits, and follow up care recommendations to referring providers
Supervise two IR APP's
Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off; weekdays require 7a to 5p coverage on site with on call services provided after hours and on weekends
Service line supported by comprehensive, experienced team of 20 RNs and 6 Technologists for IR suite cases; 2 procedural CT suites, US procedural suite Clinic team consists of an RN Nurse Manager, 2 Medical Assistants and a Receptionist; dedicated clinic space with 2 exam rooms on site
Education Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Eligible in Interventional Radiology
