Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract A rewarding MRI Technologist opportunity is available in Ankeny, IA, offering a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. This contract role involves working primarily 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours weekly. There is also a rotational call requirement consisting of one weeknight and one weekend shift every tenth weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI imaging using Siemens and GE MRI equipment. Manage and care for diverse patient populations, including Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Administer power injection contrast injections safely and effectively. Collaborate efficiently within the multidisciplinary healthcare teams across multiple campuses. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for accurate documentation. Adhere to infection control protocols and facility standards. Participate in on-call duties with appropriate compensation.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certification and licensing as an MRI Technologist. Proficiency using Siemens and GE MRI platforms. Experience with power injection contrast administration. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system. Ability to adapt to floating between multiple campuses. Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach.

Additional Information:
