Job Description
SCHEDULE
Weekdays:
Varies according to department needs; Holiday call: Potential for 1 holiday per year (24 hour shift) Covers open shifts due to staff PTO and illness. Performs radiographic procedures, clerical duties and shares in departmental work and call schedule. Adheres to the mission of Myrtue Medical Center in all aspects of job performance. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must be ARRT registered and have a current Iowa Permit to Practice. CT experience not required. On-site training available if needed. Produces consistent quality radiographs by selecting proper technical factors. Exhibits proper positioning techniques. Demonstrates proper image processing and troubleshooting. Possesses excellent customer services skills. Organizes work and performs tasks in a timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge in maintenance of equipment. Assists in maintaining and documenting a thorough quality control program. Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and neatness in paperwork/computer preparation for patient procedures.Note:
