1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required GE scanner proficiency for a night shift, 13-week contract in Idaho Falls, ID. Details MRI department with 2 suites located on the main floor of a main campus hospital Equipment includes GE Signa HDxT 23x and GE Signa 15x MRI scanners EMR is Meditech; GE PACS and Meditech experience is preferred Procedures include Neuro, MSK, Abdominal, MRA, Arthrograms, Breast, Cardiac Imaging, and MRI Anesthesia cases for both pediatric and adult patients Night shift schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 8:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM On-call coverage averages 2-3 nights per week, with every other or every third weekend required May be asked to float to other Imaging areas to provide operations support or transport assistance Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience required; allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months ARRT (MR) and BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date License required if applicable Hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment is required Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, Abdominal, MRA, and Arthrogram imaging is required Experience with Breast and Cardiac MRI imaging is preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform a full range of MRI exams including Neuro, MSK, Abdominal, MRA, Arthrograms, Breast, and Cardiac studies, as well as MRI Anesthesia cases for pediatric and adult patients Night shift team operates with call coverage only (10:30 PM•7:30 AM); day shift runs 7:30 AM•10:30 PM with 3 techs on staff Black scrub top and bottom required
