Full Time Nights, 10:30pm to 7am, Sunday - Thursday Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiology Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work across various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT scans. You will be responsible for capturing clear images that aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, all while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will contribute to a fast-paced environment that values precision, professionalism, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Operate advanced imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging session. Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to perform diagnostic evaluations. Ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic results. Maintain equipment calibration and perform routine quality assurance checks to uphold imaging standards.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology. License - Illinois Radiologic Technologist. CRP Certification Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, basic computer knowledge, good interpersonal skills and ability to use sound judgment to ensure quality of patient care. Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions, basic math skills.
Pay:
$55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Experience:
x-ray and CT scans: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
Radiological Technologist Certification in Illinois (Required)
