Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver excellence in patient care as an IR Tech and play a vital role in advanced imaging procedures. In this position, you will utilize your expertise to assist in interventional radiology services, supporting physicians and ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging for a high standard of patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred Recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in a hospital or clinical setting Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety procedures Proficiency with radiologic equipment and digital imaging technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment Valid state licensure as required
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for interventional radiologic procedures by explaining processes, confirming patient identity, and reviewing relevant clinical history Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Assist physicians during IR procedures by anticipating needs and managing sterile fields Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, reporting changes promptly Apply proper safety and infection control standards to all aspects of imaging services Perform and document pre- and post-procedure care according to facility protocols Accurately maintain patient records and imaging logs This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance your skills while making a difference in patient outcomes.
