Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Experience the welcoming community and vibrant surroundings of Orland Park, IL, through your next travel assignment as a Radiology Technologist. This destination offers the perfect mix of suburban charm and big-city access, allowing you to explore scenic parks, local dining, and entertainment during your downtime. Schedule:
8-hour shifts: Days (8:30a-5p), Mids (2:30p-11p), or Nights (10:30p-7a) Every other weekend rotation 4-week schedule cycles, provided 1-2 weeks in advance No required on-call or holiday coverage for travelers
Qualifications:
Valid BLS and ARRT certifications required Active IEMA license (no limited licenses accepted) General x-ray proficiency — chest, long bones, etc. Acute care experience (mobile x-ray only is not sufficient) Comfort with portable imaging equipment Ability to work independently, especially on overnight shifts Fluoroscopy and OR experience are advantageous, but not mandatory
Preferred Skills & Equipment:
Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) Experience using GE equipment for general x-ray, ER, and portables Knowledge of GE PACS and Shimadzu Fluoro (fluoro not used on nights)
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations on diverse patient populations Operate imaging equipment efficiently and safely Adapt to various clinical settings within the department, including portable exams Ensure image quality and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team with 24/7 support
