1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care, Level II Trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification. Details Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology - CT department Level II Trauma facility Department has 2 GE CT scanners: one in the main department (Revolution EVO) and one in the ED (Revolution
EVO APEX
) Performs all CT exams except cardiac and perfusion studies, including inpatient, outpatient, and ED exams Average patient volume of 60-100 scans per day IV placement required Charting via BAR (Allscripts-based system); PACS system is Scimage PICOM No floating to other areas required Radiologist on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; not in-house at other times 8 and 12-hour evening and night shifts: Thursday 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, Saturday 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 PM-7:00 AM This is a weekend-focused assignment; the department offers both weekday and weekend assignments Holiday coverage expected based on departmental need Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience Current BLS (AHA) certification required ARRT (CT) certification required License required if applicable Proficiency with GE CT scanner equipment Experience with IV placement required Familiarity with Allscripts-based EMR preferred Additional Information Performs a full range of CT exams including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department studies; cardiac and perfusion studies are excluded from scope Department is supervised by a Radiology Supervisor/Lead Tech On-call or standby coverage required as needed Orientation is conducted during weekday first-shift hours Light grey scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
