Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist at Quincy Medical Group, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support patient care and clinical decision-making. Working closely with radiologists, providers, and fellow imaging professionals, you will perform radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional service throughout the imaging experience. Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position with a rotating weekday schedule, Monday through Friday. Scheduled hours may vary based on departmental needs. Participation in approximately 2-3 weekend shifts per year is required. No routine holidays, overnight shifts, or on-call requirements. Fast-paced outpatient imaging environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Primary Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the examination process and addressing questions or concerns. Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Operate radiographic equipment and imaging technology in accordance with safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic medical record and imaging systems. Follow radiation safety practices and regulatory requirements to protect patients, staff, and visitors. Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or operational concerns as needed. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment. Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience. Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Current state licensure, if applicable, required. Current CPR certification required. Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging equipment. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $25.00 - $37.50 per hour , with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
