Summary:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility of patients for a designated time frame and to provide care, specifically in the Heart & Vascular Institute. The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study. The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.
Job Description:
Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Healthcare Provider certification required. (BLS).
