Job Description

Braun Intertec is hiring for a Level II Inspector specialized in CR/DR to join the NDE Laboratory team in Bloomington, MN. The Computed Radiographer (CR) / Digital Radiographer (DR) Level II Inspector is responsible for performing nondestructive testing using CR/DR methods in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures. This role requires a certified Level II technician capable of independently setting up, calibrating, and performing CR/DR inspections, as well as interpreting and evaluating results. The technician will also support other methods, including Liquid Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MT), as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform CR/DR inspections in accordance with established procedures and industry standards. Set up and calibrate CR/DR equipment, ensuring proper technique and image quality. Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results. Prepare accurate and timely reports and supporting documentation. Interface with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical support as needed. Assist in developing inspection techniques and plans for various applications. Assist in the development and improvement of lab processes, work instructions, and documentation. Participate in quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Minimum Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions within the Level II certification scope. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to adjust schedule based on project and client needs. A high school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary education in nondestructive examination A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiographic testing or related NDE field RT Level II certification with emphasis in CR/DR, with additional NDE certifications in
DR, MT, PT

Compensation Range:
