The Radiologic Technologist CT is a vital part of delivering safe, accurate diagnostic imaging for patients across a variety of care settings. You would ensure high-quality radiographic exams are completed efficiently while supporting patient safety, comfort, and excellent service. This role reports to the Director / Manager of Radiology Services. Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department):
- Diagnostic imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Portable, surgery, and bone density imaging experience
- Contrast administration and IV access skills
- Radiology information systems documentation
- Patient communication and education
- Collaboration with Radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Time management and patient flow coordination (Unit / Dept.) Successes and Designation
- Advanced imaging services supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical care
- Commitment to quality imaging and patient-centered service
- Focus on safety through ALARA radiation protection principles (Unit / Dept.) Training & Onboarding Culture
- Supportive orientation process for new technologists
- Ongoing continuing education and NetLearning assignments
- Cross-training opportunities in CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other specialty areas

Essential Job Duties:
- Perform ordered radiology exams accurately and efficiently
- Position patients properly and adjust imaging equipment for each procedure
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
- Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Management Systems
- Administer contrast media when required per protocol
- Assist with portable, surgery, and routine imaging procedures
- Maintain stocked, clean, and organized imaging rooms
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-high school vocational or specialized radiology training approved by the AMA
- 1-2 years of x-ray experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Licenses /
Certifications:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
- Indiana State Department of Health licensure (ISDOH)
