The Radiologic Technologist CT is a vital part of delivering safe, accurate diagnostic imaging for patients across a variety of care settings. You would ensure high-quality radiographic exams are completed efficiently while supporting patient safety, comfort, and excellent service. This role reports to the Director / Manager of Radiology Services. Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department):

• Diagnostic imaging procedures and patient positioning
• Portable, surgery, and bone density imaging experience
• Contrast administration and IV access skills
• Radiology information systems documentation
• Patient communication and education
• Collaboration with Radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and patient flow coordination (Unit / Dept.) Successes and Designation
• Advanced imaging services supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical care
• Commitment to quality imaging and patient-centered service
• Focus on safety through ALARA radiation protection principles (Unit / Dept.) Training & Onboarding Culture
• Supportive orientation process for new technologists
• Ongoing continuing education and NetLearning assignments
• Cross-training opportunities in CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other specialty areas

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform ordered radiology exams accurately and efficiently
• Position patients properly and adjust imaging equipment for each procedure
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
• Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Management Systems
• Administer contrast media when required per protocol
• Assist with portable, surgery, and routine imaging procedures
• Maintain stocked, clean, and organized imaging rooms
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Qualifications:

• Post-high school vocational or specialized radiology training approved by the AMA
• 1-2 years of x-ray experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Licenses /

Certifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
• Indiana State Department of Health licensure (ISDOH)
