Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment in our fast-paced urgent care setting. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and efficient care delivery.
Schedule & Availability Required Shift:
Must be available to work variable schedule (days, nights, and weekends)
Location:
Ability to commute to Fort Wayne, IN Essential Functions Perform full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols. Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure cooperation and safety. Position patients accurately using ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and positioning accuracy. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, performing necessary QC checks. Accurately document patient history and imaging details in the EHR and PACS systems. Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely, coordinated patient care. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and comply with all organizational policies.
Qualifications Experience:
1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (or Limited-Scope) required.
Education/Setting:
Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings is preferred.
Licensure:
Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is required.
State License:
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Indiana) required.
Certification:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Immigration sponsorship is not available).
