Competitive Pay Package Based on Experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-volume interventional radiology department performing advanced vascular and image-guided procedures. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures, operate specialized imaging equipment, maintain procedural sterility, and ensure exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process. Responsibilities Assist physicians during a variety of interventional radiology and vascular procedures. Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies prior to cases. Operate fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assist with contrast administration and patient monitoring in accordance with facility protocols. Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection prevention standards. Position patients appropriately for procedures while ensuring safety and comfort. Document procedural information accurately and maintain patient records. Utilize PACS systems for image management and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes. Participate in on-call coverage and respond to emergency procedural needs when required. Ensure equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns as necessary. Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Licensure & Certifications Current ARRT Certification required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required. Experience Minimum one (1) year of Interventional Radiology or related procedural imaging experience required. First-time travelers accepted. Experience supporting image-guided vascular and interventional procedures preferred. Skills & Competencies Experience utilizing PACS systems. Experience working with C-Arm imaging equipment. Knowledge of contrast administration procedures and patient monitoring. Strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural workflow. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality standards. Equipment Experience Experience operating Siemens imaging systems preferred. Procedure Experience Preferred Hepatic and vascular interventional procedures. Y-90 radioembolization procedures. Venous sampling procedures. Embolization procedures. Percutaneous transhepatic procedures. Drain placement and image-guided interventions. Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures. On-call coverage required:
One weekday per week Approximately 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM Day shift schedule. High-acuity procedural environment with advanced interventional radiology services.
