A PET/CT
technologist performs nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and diagnostic CT procedures or therapies at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring. Receive, relay and document all verbal, written and electronic orders in the patient's medical record. Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.
Qualifications/Education Required:
2 year degree in Nuclear Medicine
Required:
One of the following is required
Certifications/Licensures:
(Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology (N)(ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB))
Preferred:
4 year degree in Nuclear Medicine
Certifications/Licensures:
(One of the following is required Certifications within one year of hire: Certified Computed Tomography (CT) (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) (CT)) Why Community?
