Job Description

Responsibilities The Registered Radiology Technol-Phy Svcs utilizes imaging, computer and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards. The position demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality; applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, educates and responds to questions or concerns. The Registered Radiology Technol-Phy Svcs ensures an age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development. This position demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. The Registered Radiology Technol-Phy Svcs oversees and trains students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
Qualifications Required:
RO (State Radiography License) and
ARRT-R OR ROT
(Temp State Radiography License) and M ust obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration
Desired:
One year in general radiography
