Join Saint Joseph Health System as a Mammography Technologist on our Mobile Unit and make a meaningful impact by bringing life-saving breast health screenings directly to the communities we serve. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership, helping expand access to care while guiding a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered imaging services. We seek a skilled and motivated Mammography Technologist to support our Mobile Mammography Unit, providing on-site screenings at community locations and local businesses. This role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Technical Duties Perform high-quality mammography imaging in accordance with ACR standards, independently and in collaboration with Radiologists Position patients and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal imaging results Assist physicians with procedures, including sterile techniques when required Act as a technical expert resource for departmental protocols, procedures, and imaging techniques Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Licensure & Certifications Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Licensed Radiographer in the state of Indiana ARRT advanced certification in Mammography OR Completion of mammography training with commitment to obtain ARRT Mammography certification within 60 days Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a
Radiologic Technologist Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience in Mammography Prior leadership or lead experience preferred Additional Information This position includes participation in departmental scheduling and potential call rotation Travel is required as part of the Mobile Mammography Unit operations Must have reliable transportation Mobile Unit - 2 Person Team with the ability to coordinate own schedule Operating area typically falls within a 30-mile radius with mileage reimbursement. Operates mammography equipment to obtain mammograms according to ACR specifications independently and in conjunction with radiologist Why Join Us?
